Terms & Policy
Plain-language statement of service nature, limitations, and responsibilities
Important
This service operates in the cloud and may produce errors. You remain responsible for all decisions. Outputs are assistive only, not authoritative.
1. Service Nature (Cloud-Based)
Re-Funder is a cloud-based service. All processing occurs on remote infrastructure operated by third-party providers.
This service does not execute locally on your device. It is not device-sovereign by default. Data submitted to the service is transmitted to and processed on cloud servers.
The service relies on network connectivity and external infrastructure over which we have limited direct control.
2. Accuracy & Limitations
The system may produce errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Outputs are generated through automated processes that are not infallible.
No guarantee is made regarding the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any output. The service is assistive in nature, not authoritative.
Outputs should be understood as suggestions or organisational aids, not as verified facts or definitive conclusions. There is no implication of automation certainty or perfection.
The service may fail to detect relevant information, may misinterpret inputs, or may generate content that is incomplete or incorrect.
3. No Professional Reliance
Outputs from this service do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
The service does not replace solicitors, barristers, financial advisors, or other qualified professionals. It does not create any professional relationship or duty of care.
Responsibility for all decisions remains entirely with you, the user. You should not rely on outputs as a basis for legal, financial, or other significant decisions without independent verification.
If you require professional advice, you must consult a qualified and regulated professional in the relevant field.
4. Data Handling (High Level)
Data you submit is processed in the cloud using third-party infrastructure. This may include storage, processing, and transmission across multiple jurisdictions.
We make no claim of permanent local storage or on-device data retention. Data handling is subject to the policies and technical capabilities of underlying service providers.
We do not guarantee any specific level of data security, retention, or protection beyond what is technically feasible and commercially reasonable.
You should not submit data you consider highly sensitive or confidential unless you accept the inherent risks of cloud-based processing.
5. User Responsibility
You must review, verify, and validate all outputs independently. The service is a tool, not a substitute for your own judgment.
You should not rely on the system as a sole source of truth. Cross-reference outputs with other sources and apply critical thinking before taking any action based on them.
You are responsible for ensuring that any use of the service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
By using this service, you acknowledge that you understand its limitations and accept responsibility for how you choose to use its outputs.
6. Liability Limitation (Plain Language)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of this service.
We are not responsible for decisions you make based on outputs from the service, nor for any consequences of those decisions.
We do not accept liability for errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, or failures in service provision. This includes but is not limited to financial loss, reputational harm, or any other direct or indirect damage.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use the service, if any.
7. Changes & Updates
These terms and policies may change as the service evolves. We may update them at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the service after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. We recommend checking this page whenever you use the service.
If you do not agree with any changes, you should stop using the service immediately.
